Mohammad Nazrul Islam
Started Banking Career in the year 1973 as a BRC recruit. Worked in different Bank’s including Grindlays Bank (now SCB), BCCI (Overseas), Dhaka Bank, in Bangladesh as Senior Executive, Worked in Union Bank (Zambia) as CFO, SIBL as Deputy Managing Director, Jamuna Bank, PLACID International SDN BHD, BRAC BANK (Afghanistan) and Afghanistan Commercial Bank as CEO and Managing Director. Retired from Banking and returned to the country during 2015. Currently working as Adviser - IT Consultants limited. Education: Graduated from University of Dhaka in a Science discipline, M A with Macro Economics major from D U and MBA from Trinity University, Delaware, USA- with Banking and Finance as Major subjects.
Mr. Subhankar Saha joined ITCL as Advisor after his more than 33 years’ service in Bangladesh Bank at different levels and versatile fields. He was promoted there as Executive Director in 2012 and was entrusted to oversee the activities of 4(four) core departments viz. Payment Systems, Financial Sector Support & Strategic Planning, Agricultural Credit and Currency Management till 31 st December 2017. He also acted as Project Director of 'Financial Sector Support Project (FSSP)'. In addition he was the Chairman of Bank Supervision Taskforce, Spokesperson of BB, BB Chief Innovation Officer, Chairman, Taskforce for Combating Counterfeit Notes, BB Observe to the Board of Sonali Bank Ltd, Associate Member of SAARC Payment Council etc.
Mr. Saha is an Agricultural Economist and also completed Financial Programming course in the IMF Institute, Washington D.C., USA. He led BB delegates and participated as Panel Discussant/Expert in different International conferences/Symposiums/Workshops/Summits held in Norway, Switzerland, Canada, Malaysia, South Korea, India, England, Sweden, Singapore, Slovakia, France, Germany, Malaysia, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, China, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Philippines, Italy, USA, Indonesia etc. He is the Editor of 3 books 'Of Changes and Transmission', 'Badle Jaoya Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Bank'r Itihas and Sub-editor of few books.
