Bangladesh Electronic Payment Systems Ltd. (BEPS) is a certified Third Party Processor (TPP) founded as a joint-venture company between SunGard, a Singaporean registered institution and reputed entrepreneurs of Bangladesh. BEPS provides turnkey solutions to Banks and other financial institutions in Bangladesh by offering & implementing Global branded (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, Diners, Amex) Debit, Credit and ATM card management 

system services. The software offered is on a Third Party Processor basis is “CARDPRO V5”. BEPS’ objective is not only to provide first class operations to all banks by consolidating their back end operations but also to help bring down the cost of processing. With the continuous support of its Local and International Partners BEPS has progressed very fast to make a major impact in the Bangladesh market.

On 20th September 2008, ITC acquired Bangladesh Electronic Payment Systems Ltd (BEPS), to become the single largest Electronic Transaction processing house in Bangladesh. This was done to completely break the business monopoly for foreign banks in this field. It is one of the largest Consortium of Banks, stretching across 26+ Banks.
